An investment app that helps university students invest safely, transparently, and easily, with no prior financial knowledge required.

The problem

Investing feels out of reach for most university students. In our research, this is what they told us:

  • It doesn't feel trustworthy.
  • I don't know much about it, and I don't have the time or money for that.
  • I don't know how to use it.
  • I don't have the knowledge to invest correctly.
  • I haven't thought about it, or bothered to learn how to invest.

Team & my role

FinPlus was a 5-person university team project (Raffaella Albasini, Florencia Campos, Josefina Friedli, Daniela Masihy, and Joaquín Rodríguez). I worked across UX and UI: user research, the scope canvas, use cases and navigation map, and the interface design system and high-fidelity prototype in Figma. A dedicated developer then built the app in Flutter and Firebase from that documentation.
